Education

St. Augustine's is blessed with wonderful children and youth. The Lord's Pray-ers, the name self-selected by parish children, meet every Sunday during the 11:00 worship service, except for the first Sunday of each month, when they remain in the nave for the full Eucharist.

Youth-led services are scheduled several times each year at the 11:00 service. Children and youth always play an active role in corporate worship, but in youth-led Sunday services they play an even larger role.
Adult Formation Form meets every Sunday at 10:00 AM in the Youth Room, rear left classroom in Parish Hall.

EfM
EfM is sponsored by the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. Students enroll one year at a time for the four year program. They meet once a week for nine months each year, with a summer break from June-August. The program focuses on learning and theological reflection. It includes Bible study, church history, and contemporary issues in religion and theology. Groups are led by mentors who receive ongoing yearly training. Ken Kimsey is the EfM mentor at St. Augustine's. A minimum of six students is required to form a viable group. (Currently Ken is leading an online group, but registration is closed until September 2016.) If you are interested in learning more about EfM, speak with Ken at church, call him at 678-468-2072, or email: kenkimsey53@gmail.com. Visit the EfM website at: http://efm.sewanee.edu/
